Nelsie is inspired by a 19th century woven bed-cover made by Nelsie Laforest in Charlevoix. Each piece is a tribute to Quebec women who have worked in the shadow of the domestic sphere. 8-pointed stars (an emblematic figure of Quebec fiber -popular- art), fir trees, snow flowers and other common forms of Québec's heritage can be found in the patterns.
